My new tub is up and running, and it is better than I could have imagined. My start up kit lasted almost a week, and I resupplied at my dealer Sunday morning. Some early issues with foaming and clarity, I read a few posts today and saw the suggestion for spray bottles for the defoamer. My dealer suggested that Sunday and it is a great tip. Another tip was to change the default cleaning cycles from the factory setting of 15 minutes up to 45 minutes to an hour. That made a big difference in clarity after just one day. Anyway, my question: I am using bromine tabs in the dispenser and a CD Ozonator. I wanted to buy some shock, and the dealer said to use chlorine, the granualted kind, a tablespoon or two after a heavy multi person use and every few days. I would have thought bromine had its own shock but apparently this works better or there is not a good shock for a bromine tub. Does this ring true? Funny, but I feel as if I am doubting my dealer and at the same time I am a proponent of maintaining a good relationship with the dealer.
