I know Bromine and Nature2 are not compatable. When I have my water tested after using Spa Shock it shows up around 5 on Bromine when they test it. The shock ingredient is Potassium Peroxymonosulfate. It does not show up on my test strips however. Is there a problem using the spa shock with nature2?

Some spa shocks are known to also have sodium dichlor (chlorine) or sodium bromide (bromine) as an ingredient. Are either of these listed?

Just has other ingredients listed. Is this shock considered MPS?

Actually, while it is possible that a person named BRIAN might have PMS, I highly doubt it.

Potassium Peroxymonosulfate will not show up on most color indicators. The active ingediant in the test strip is dpd which is not sensitve to the chemical. If your test for chlorine or bromine is purple it is dpd.

chlorine, bromine and most shocks will "show" a reading for bromine (as well as chlorine), but that DOESN'T mean it's actually in the water.
