Confused on Master Spa Twilight filter cycles
« on: August 11, 2016, 10:54:21 pm »
Hello, I just bought a house that came with a Master Spa Twilight, and looking in the manual it says that I can change the filter setting from 2 hours to 4, 6, 8, or continuous. Does that mean it will run for that long, or is that how often it will run? Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm new to the whole hot tub thing.

Also, I have the temp turned all the way down, but it's getting up to 97 degrees. Will changing the filter cycle setting help prevent this unwanted heating or is that solely a function of the outside temperature? It was really nice the first day when we filled it up, but now it's hot water on a hot day and not very appealing. Thanks for your help!

Yes, in the hot summer less filtering will result in a lower temp if it's set lower. Should be twice a day for 2-4-6-8 hours or continuous.
