Active oxygen - Fi Clor and Aquablanc
« on: March 11, 2016, 03:35:49 pm »
Hello

We own an inflatable hot tub (Lay Z Spa vegas) and have been using chlorine granules.  Other half (sensitive skin) seems to be having a reaction to the chlorine, so we're looking for a skin friendly alternative.

Chatting to a spa supplier today, they were recommending Fi Clor Active Oxygen tablets and liquid but I've now also found Aquablanc too.

Does anyone have any experience of using either of these?  Are they skin friendly?

How do you know the chlorine granules are causing your wife's skin problems? Have you seen a doctor? Hot tub water can cause flare ups of exema. (spelling)

And Hot tub water can cause flare ups of exema that have never been observed before.
If you can't sell it on eBay, it may not even qualify as landfill.

Retired (mostly) from the industry after 33 years...but still putzing around with a consumer information website, and trying to sell obsolete owners manuals
