disconnecting blower
« on: October 08, 2015, 06:12:14 am »
I have a 9yr old Hydrospa hot tub. I disconnected the blower when I discovered that it was this causing the power breaker to trip regularly. Due to the cost of a replacement and the fact that we never use it I have left it disconnected. The only problem is I have been told by my hot tub engineer that the water in the air pipes will go stagnant. Is it possible to remove the water from the pipes and plug them so they don't refill? Is is difficult or would it be OK to just leave it and replace the water every few months when I refill it? Or- would it be better to splash out a lot of money on replacing the blower which I never use? :-\
