Resigned from Beachcomber
«
on:
June 23, 2004, 12:24:39 pm »
Just wanted to let everyone know that as of today, I have resigned my position at Beachcomber.
It's been fantastic and I owe a great deal to them but I'm moving on to bigger and better things (not to mention more money!!
)
I have excepted a position as an account executive for a company away from the hot tub industry and I'll be traveling a few times a month to look after my clients within Alberta.
I'll be working mainly out of my home office and I'm looking forward to this new challenge. My first challenge is golfing with the owner and GM this afternoon!
(I know, I know...let them win, right? )
Thanks to everyone here for your knowledge, support and friendship over the past couple of years and I'll pop my head in every once and a while to see how everyone is doing.
Feel free to keep in contact and you can always e-mail here at srsb@shaw.ca
Take care all,
Steve

I thought for a second you were going to say you were taking on the challenge to rep for Haven but I see you're making a break from the industry altogether. Sounds like a great move for you so congrats. Your presence here and on the other boards will be missed. I'll drink a Molson in your honor.

I'm happy for you! Congratulations!!! I wish you all of the luck in the world! (and yes, let them win this time, but once you have been with them awhile, show them what a golf game really is...lol)
You will be sorely missed, so you better pop in every now and then!!!
Take care!

Steve, thankyou very much for all the help over the past year. You made our first year much more enjoyable with all your answers to my stupid questions and all of the free advice. Best of luck, Ron

Steve, I'm fairly new to this forum, but I enjoyed the sense of humor you brought to the board.
If I were a buyer, your the kind of spa dealer I would want to deal with.
I'm sure whatever your new endevor is you'll excell at it.
You and you alone are responsible for countless Beachcomer spa purchases based on your knowlage and advice you've given on this board and others.
Don't be a stanger because now you get to wear the hat of a happy beachcomer customer.

Thanks a lot everyone.
I've had the honor of communicating with all of you and learning from people like Chas, Tech, Doc, Ken (whom all I respect a great deal)and some very special people who just happened to purchase a hot tub somewhere in the world. You know who you are.
I thank you all for your kind wishes and I'll do my best to stop by when I can. It was also humbling to hear from people I've never really communicated with and all your words meant a great deal to me.
Great selling and/or happy tubbing to you all and in the words of a good friend...
SOAK LONG AND PROSPER!! [/b]
Steve
P.S. My guess is that if I pop back in 6 months, dazed still won't have a tub!
