diluting chemicals prior to adding to hot tub ?
« on: September 22, 2014, 06:15:21 pm »
I was just wondering if people generally dilute their chemicals before adding to the hot tub ?  I was told that it is better for the acrylic shell if the chemicals are diluted in some spa water first, but I can see the Canadian winter fast approaching and I don't see myself taking the time to do this, on a cold winter evening...  What do others do ?

The only thing I ever diluted was muratic acid when it was required. But water in our area is more of a baking soda, borax kind of water. No dilution required, and Dichlor, bleach, bromine, bromide, MPS it is not required.
