Flashing FL code on my Beach Comber hottub
« on: August 22, 2014, 11:06:12 am »
I have a beach comber hot tub and I had a solid FL code so I changed the flow switch and now I have a flashing FL code even with the filter removed. Both pumps appear to be running .
I tried everything but FL is still flashing but the pumps seem to be working and tub seems to be heating up. Should I just leave it alone?

Not sure of the pump configuration on that one but confirm that the pump that runs the water through the heater is "primed" which means it is not just running but has water flow (Or FL) If it does than you may have a bad pressure switch or connection. If no flow, you need to bleed the air from the pump with system of, then re-start.

Kev is right, you have no water flowing through your flow switch now.  Before it was a bad flow switch that you corrected and now that problem is fixed, but you lost prime and are not moving water through the plumbing system.
Trying to be the unbaised voice of reason.
