Just reading 10-79's thread about his weir gate got me thinking about mine.
I bought a used Artisan Island from a friends son recently, so I'm not 100% sure how the weir gate should work.
It's hinged at the bottom, and is free to fall in either direction, either in towards the filters out out towards the bathers.
Should there be some sort of stop, so it only falls inwards ?
I also think it might be missing some styrofoam, although it sort of floats, there is nothing that keeps it erect (so to speak).
Any thoughts.
