Buy hot springs grandee for $12,995 or D1 Lotus Bay for $12,495?

using it regularly will be 1 adult and then 3 teenagers so we want one that still fits a 5 ft tall 80lb 13 year old and we want it big enough to be able to pack in the people when we have parties which makes the grandee seem more ideal by looking at the seats....or is there other brands that would be more fitting?

One of the best things about the Grandee is the size along with the open seating which works great when you have kids and/or more than a few people in it. I own a 1999 and its still going strong. I could replace it but why bother, I'd just get another of the same.

I don't know how big the Grande is, but my dealer had one of these J495 on the floor and was huge. Look like it would be great for parties.

The Grandee would be a great tub for what you are looking to do.  We ended up getting a tub that my wife could stay in the seat when the jets were on high by pushing her feet against the foot well.  I would have never of even thought about it till she found the tub that she could enjoy and stay in the seat.

My personal choice would be the Hot Springs, I think its a well built tub, after comparing apples to apples and oranges to oranges, they seem to have a strong network of dealers and the dealers in my area, have been carrying the Hot Springs for years, they never change brands. It really comes down to do you need that big of a spa really ?  If so, I say go for it, if not downsize a little.
