Filter Maintenance
« on: January 28, 2013, 08:21:27 pm »
Hi All,

I have a Hot Springs Jetsetter which has 3 filters in it. I bought a 2nd set of filters (Tri-X) so that I could swap them at cleaning time especially when it is cold in Idaho. Well I just did this last Saturday morning and put the Tri-X in and cleaned the stock filters with a garden hose. I have them inside in a laundry sink and keep picking them up and draining the excess water from the bottom area to promote drying. This room can get quite warm with the heater running so I thought they would dry fairly quick.
Tonight they are still a bit damp especially between the pleats. I was going to bag them and store until next change, but am concerned if they are not all the way dry they may mold or? Can anyone share their process with a 2nd set of filters and how they are stored?
Thanks,
