JED 103 Ozone Generator install question.
« on: July 25, 2012, 05:44:08 pm »
My Ozone Generator just arrived UPS.
.1 Should I go ahead and install it with the current water that is 45 days old but looks good?

Installation looks simple; Cutoff power; cut cap off tubing and install with check valve in the right direction; Install unit as high as possible and put 2 loops in it at top of Hot Tub to keep water out of unit. This will have 2 check valves in it; The instructions say to leave the current check valve in place and install the one sent.

Any advice,Hints would be appreciated. Thanks

Ozone Generator is hooked up and bubbling!  :) I have set the Hot Tub to run 24 hours. Also, The J1000 controls has a green check by the ozone generator. The circulation pump has to be running.

Sounds cool. I have put in a grand total of one of those units, but it really puts out the ozone. You may be able to reduce the run time to less than 24 hours.
