HotSpring - Vista 2011 - circulation pump
« on: July 24, 2011, 11:20:55 pm »
I am researching for a new tub and was trying to see how much water per hour the SilentFlo 5000® circulation pump filters each hour?  Does anyone know this answer or a resource to serach on?

I am comparing the various other features with tubs and curious how much water is filtered in this tub...

Thanks.

the entire body of water in the Vista (500gal.) will "turn over" 12 times per 24hours approx.

It was either published and he copied it to you or he simply knows the gallons/minute of that pump and did the math for you knowing the size of the body of water.
220, 221, whatever it takes!

I do not believe I have ever seen this info. published in any "customer literature" but in some service documents there is a procedure on how to test the flow on a circ pump which are service techs do on "end of warranty inspection" visits using a standpipe and a bucket....that plus some math (ok a calculator lol) and I came up with the numbers above
