110 volt or 220

I have an indoor 2 person tub that is wired for 110  with 22 jets.  The jets do not have enough pressure to suit me  would it improve the pressure if I changed it to 220

That's assuming its capable of handling a 220v hookup.    Otherwise it'll lead to something else entirely.

Really the only thing your gaining is the increase in heater size, allowing the heater to work well the spa is on high speed, The pressure will not change, you should be able to close of some jets to increase the jet pressure ...

If you switched to 240V you could change the pump and that will help but you need to check with the manufacturer and see if that is even possible.

  If your tub is 120/240 convertable, all you gain is the ability to run the pump at high speed, while heating.  If it isn't convertable, you may need to replace both the pump and heater.  You would also need to replace the breaker on your main electrical panel , the GFI circuit disconnect and the wiring from the main panel to the tub.

Tuffy - Try turning off the jets that are not located where you are seated.

  Tuffy, you may not have to convert from 120 VAC to 240 VAC, to install a higher capacity pump.  Although, any higher capacity pump is going to draw more power/current and  probably require rewiring and new breakers.  240 VAC equiptment applies a more even draw on your electrical service and is therefore cheaper to run.
