No Soak for you!
« on: February 23, 2011, 07:07:36 am »
We had an all day soaker of a rain storm Monday.  Had it been snow we would have had a foot or more, but around 5pm it switched over to snow, bypassing the freezing rain part, or so I thought.  About 9pm I went out and we had about 1/2" of ice on top of the inch of snow and my cover must have weighed 200 pounds.  Back inside for me.

I know Bill, this weather has been so crazy...but for you to miss a soak is a record!  Hopefully the sun will come out today and melt that icy covering.  I need to do a very good cleaning and refill but I am afraid I might freeze to the deck right now..lol  By the weekend we might be in the 50's so that would be much better!

To my amazement...my tub is still on my deck..I have never experienced such winds..even in hurricanes..Yesterday was really bad and I thought I might lose my tub cover..thankfully I didn't  ;D  Hoping for a warm day to clean it out
