The first soak was great, but the second soak was even better as the water settled a bit and I'm getting closer (though still not close enough) to the right chemistry in the tub.  Not that it has stopped me from enjoying the tub again and again  ;D  ;D

One thing I've noticed is that there is a fair amount of particulate matter in the tub.  I'm thinking is mostly very small pieces of leaves and dirt.  I washed a number of leaves out of the tub but I think these were probably stuck in the filter area/pipes etc.  I've run the clean cycle and the jets a number of times but it doesn't seem to be catching this stuff.  Any suggestions?  Obviously I don't want to drain and start over so quickly.

I would do a system flush/spa purge ASAP.  Like a radiator flush.  You have 4 1/2 years of someone's stuff accumulated in the pipes.
