sdccarpentry,
On the negative you see. i don't believe it is on the Master Spa product.iit is more on the way they sell at the traveling shows and how they do it. That i believe is the problem,,,

A sample of one really is just that, a sample of one. Lets say the poster was actually having issues with his spa, there is no way someone could then conclude, "see, his individual spa has issues so the brand must be bad". At the same time you can't say a brand is good just because the spa in your yard has been good. Its a compliation of 1000s of customers that make a brand's quality and reputation but I'm glad to hear the poster is happy with his spa. No matter the brand, we always want to see people have good luck and enjoyment with their hot tub.

Spatech,
your absolutely spot on.  You cannot react on a model that has a problem, then say the line is junk....But when we are on here to give our professional opinions on with our knowledge and expertise in this industry, it can be helpful to a consumer, alot of us have experience with different brands and see the good and bad in our industry, for us to be on here to help i believe shows our passion for the spa industry, it does not help when we have posters on here that all they do is slam to slam.. but to not give what the thread is asking of us......is not good...

Take a good long look at the dealer, how long has he been in business and how long has he been carrying that line.  Master Spa was on my short list, the company that carried their line was the longest in business in Columbus and one of the mos recognized.  Fortunately for me, the dealer peaced me off in an email message and I ended up going another direction.   That dealer about a year later, got mad at the Master Spa company and stopped carrying their line.  Sometime later a new pool company picked them up, and a year after that history repeated itself.  The spa itself maybe as good as several others, but I don't put a lot of faith in the company and its business practices.

Just for the heck of it, I checked and the 4th company since I can remember, is now the official rep of Master in my town. Its near my work, so I might have to stop and check it out, but another thing I hate is when you go to a company's website and you have to enter your information to find out who your local dealer is.  That annoys the heck out of me.

I can see your point that one unit does not represent the whole lot . But people do a search of this site and you will find no bad remarks about Master Spa by there owners, only sale reps of other companies .Man up and  quit your belly aching about there sale tactics . This site is dead to me . SDC

That reminds me of how sick I am of political ads, but almost as sick of the expression "Man up", especially when used in such an irrelevant place.  What a dumb post.

Since you're really looking for individual reviews, this site below has a good section for people to give spa reviews per brand. While all brands have a mix of satisfied and unsatisfied owners, the key is to be weighted heavily toward the satisfied end. While there are some good ones similar to your own for Master there are far too many that seem to repeat similar issues.
