Caldera Aventine help
« on: October 11, 2010, 01:46:26 pm »
Hi
I am considering the purchase of a 1 year old Caldera Aventine.  It has been converted to 230v but the owners did not have a subpanel installed but they did have a GFCI breaker installed for it in their main panel box.  I do not believe I would need the 2 breaker Watkins subpanel but would like to confirm what type of subpanel I need to hook this up correctly.

Any other advice or warnings about this tub would be welcomed.

You just need a 50 Amp GFCI. The 20 and 30 are for spas with the Energy Pro Heater in the Paradise and Utopia Series. It should be a good purchase. There isn't really a problem the way the hooked it up.

Thank you for confirming.  First tub and did not want to screw it up.
