The problem:
We got strange problems with our CD ozonator: the technicians change the ozonator and check valves but this will only last some days and the bubbles will disappear. (We did not use the spa during that time.)
This is what technicians did/ do:
They change the CD ozonator and/or replace the 2 check valves and now there are coming many bubbles into the Maxxus. (If the technician pulls the 2 check valves off then you can see bubbles appearing.) Everything seems fixed but after 2-3 days you can notice that the amount of bubbles being produced seems to be less than it used to be and after one week there are no bubbles coming into the spa.
What the technicians did during the last year:
They changed the CD ozonator about 4-5 times and they replaced the 2 check valves with different (smaller) check valves. The mazi injector has been changed, too. Everything seems fixed but after some days the problems are returning (no bubbles!)
Today the bubbles disappeared again, here are some facts:
The spa is one year old, the problem exists since the day we got it.
The circ pump is always (24/7) running and the ozonator icon on the control panel (a black sun) shows that the ozonator is on but there are still no bubbles.
We don’t get any error messages like the "flo" error message.
The temp is set at 36 C and the spa is set in Standard mode.
The problem exists with or without filters being plugged in. (Without filters there are still no bubbles.)
We are using chlorine and the water is balanced.
May be the circ. pump is not working properly? What do you think?
I appreciate all information I can get!!!
Thank you in advance,
Max
