We are paying for the beautiful summer we had.  I am on the very northern edge of the recent heavy rains, so people south of me, and south of Ohio have had it much worse.

Here in upstate NY we had one of the coldest and one of the wettest summers on record.  I know many other areas had great weather this year, but we are in a weird weather zone.  My hot tub is the ONLY thing I'm looking forward to in the colder weather.

North Platte, NE had almost 14 inches of snow last weekend. They are a few hours west of us, and we didn't get quite that much, but still had snow that stuck to the ground.
Didn't get to use the hot tub though, cause I was stuck inside with bronchitis. :'(
I'm sure we'll get more snow yet this winter to enjoy, though. ;)
