Who would have thought that getting a tattoo would prevent me from using my tub. I guess the chlorine is not good for new ink. Anyways, maybe with all going on, this is the best time for it. For those interested here is a pic of my new tattoo. It hurt lots, over 11 hours so far with a few more hours to go. I wish I could go and soak in the tub right now as it hurts like a son of a b#@%.

Can anyone confirm this or is this just a tattoo rule that they make up???

Ouch... mine took 3 hrs and it isnt as large as yours... Hurts when they are over the shoulder bone..

sure did but the inside of my arm almost killed me. I have been through all types of pain, but that may have been the worst ever. My first sitting was 5 hours, and yesterday 6 hours. 2 to 3 hours left. Not bad for my first and only tattoo. I want to soak, im actually researching right now to figure out why exactly I cant soak in the tub.

I was thinking of getting a tatoo of myself accross my whole body... but taller with more hair.

I was told the same thing, but I soaked anyway. The guy even told me, I don't expect you to not use your hut tub because I told you not to. He also told me if something does happen to it, I can always come back and he'll fix it.

Of course, my tattoo wasn't nearly the size nor complexity of yours. Took less than 30 minutes.

Go ahead and soak, it will give it a "antiqued look" and nobody will ask for you ID at the bar anymore.

The last tatoo I got was of Superman but it came off cause my mom made me take a bath when we got home!
