:-?I don't understand how you can say that about a product that was just developed and hasn't even been fully released yet.  :-?

Watkins MFG has several lines to compete at different prices and now one to compete with the "Bling". It's just good business as far as I can see.  :)

Good for Hot springs to introduce a new line, but, it pretty much looks like a remake of a lot spas already made!    ::)    Wont be hard to sell against!

Whether it looks like other spas out there (always true to some degree, who is completely unique) doesn't seem to be the point to me because its supposed to look unique versus the other brands the Hot Spring dealer has (Hot Spring, Tiger River and Hot Spot) to allow them another option for the customer and it does that IMO.

I disagree. I think the new Watkins  spas have a quality look to them and are rather nice looking.

I agree with this - at this point I have to.

Bullfrog talked about adding "bling" features for awhile.  I was rather opposed to the idea.

However, more than a year after the "bling"-oriented options have become available, they are big-selling features.

As a previous opponent to "bling", I have to say it is good business, seeing how part of our business is increasing sales.

Wow.  Anybody know the release date for Term's "Lord of the Bling" series?
I hear its being released on a Blu-ray box set!

Between HotSpring and Tiger River.

I don't know if it will be available to Caldera dealers. Yes I am one, but of course I am also a HotSpring dealer...

It has some of the cool toggle jets from Caldera spas, one filter, lots of lights (don't worry, you can change them out from the front) lots of power, a metal frame, different siding than the other lines, they are music ready, but the system is not like the other systems - Ipod friendly of course...

I want one!

I put it up on my web site - http://www.HotSpring-Ventura.com

Coleman has been doing the metal frame and solid pan bottom for years.

I see this as another swrewd, caculated move by Watkins to improve and build on technology that's been proven to add quality.

Hey Chas how can you get to all those lights to change them from the inside if the tub is fiully foamed.

Uh, from inside the spa. As in, inside. Not outside where the foam is...

Am I making sense? You have to drain the water, I suppose... Then a special tool pops them open.

A very nice looking tub!  Can it be ordered without the multitude of individual lights?  I'm not crazy about all of those extra shell penetrations when, for my money, just one color changing LED light is necessary to fulfill my "bling".  MS offered a multitude of lights like these when I ordered my LSX 4 years ago but I opted not to order them just from the extra shell penetrations standpoint.
We, the unwilling, led by the unqualified, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful...

You're right Micah, I think it looks alot like a Coleman 471. The way the lounger is designed is very similar except the Coleman has a hooded foot releif dome. The filter cover area reminds me of a Sundance. I think it's a nice looking spa.....

Chas, how many filters does the Limelight have?

I'm pretty sure it only has one, like the Tiger River spas. I know for sure it has three suctions down low, and two jet pumps. We haven't gotten ours yet - we went to the factory today but only picked up three spas and a mess of covers - but I promise as soon as I get my hands on one I'll spam it up -er - answer the questions you have posed.
