I agree with Chad and Boni that it is amazing how you can feel a degree difference when the tub gets up around 101. I can actually get in a tub at that temp and feel it isn't hot enough pretty quickly, in the winter. But put it at 103 and it is too hot!!
I am amazed at how you will learn to tell one degree difference. I like my tub at 101..that is perfect. Sometimes my hubby will sneak it up to 102...It is hard to believe, but that is a drastic difference to me and I need to get into a cool down seat, it is just too hot. By the same token, I can also tell it is less than 101, but lower doesn't bother me at all.
Sounds good, I will crank it up to 103 - 104 and test that out. Funny a few degrees can make such a difference, but I believe it. I will raise it, and try it tonight. I am having company over, so I'll let you know how the extra 3 degrees goes. Thanks guys, you are all great. Shane
We keep ours at 101. I like to take real hot showers, but anything hotter than 101 in the hot tub and I find myself sitting in the cool down seat very qucikly. Fortunately, my wife feels the same way, although she will turn it down to 100 at times.
