Looking at purchasing art for the underside of my cover. Spascenes.com seems to be the only company I can find who makes this. Does anybody have any experience with this product? I'm hesitant to spend $250+ on a product I have not heard of any experiences with. Has anyone ever heard of another company or have experience with this one?

Almost all spa covers will get discolored on the underside due to chemicals (chlorine, ozone, etc.) in the tub. I can't imagine any kind of art that wouldn't get discolored as well.

Something else to think about. If you soak mostly at night are you really going to appreciate it on the cover.

I personally don't see the functionality or usefulness of it - but that's only my opinion.

I have to agree with DP Roberts. We've manufactured spa covers for 25 years and the bottoms get discolored. We've looked into graphics, mainly on the topside, and have always run into the fading problem. It seems kind of steep at $250, but if there are those out there that have used this product I would love to hear feedback as well.

At $100-$150, I wouldn't hesitate, as it has a 2 year warranty (if the company lasts that long) I use the tub during the day very often, and it seemed to be a nice touch. I can't find any info though from anyone who has it.

Sometimes, I think that people buy a spa and then they have to find new ways to throw money at it. It seems like a spa turns a man into a women, money here money there (my wife is a frickin magician when it come to making money disapear). This looks to me like the bigest waste of money I have ever seen. Why not try a banner from a Nascar event or something like that.

OK - here's the best idea yet - let's make spa covers out of glass. Make it real thick, and perhaps add double panes for better heat retention, but you could see right through it!

I love it. I'll get to work on this right away. Andy? A little help?

hmmmmmmmmmm, interesting idea. There are some double glazed windows that have and R value of 30. they're filed with some type of clear, low E oil. Maybe plexiglass instead of glass? Tempered glass?

Oh my G-d!!!!!! An hour of private pilates training never worked out my stomach as much as that did!!!! I just laughed so hard, my 2 year old got upset because he thought I was crying. I swear I almost peed in my pants. You are in the WRONG career! You should be a graphic artist! My husband does it for a career, but I don't believe he has ever enjoyed it, or made others enjoy it the way you do!!!!
