If the news is right tonight, Florida will be in the 20's!!..so it is a perfect time to kick up that temp and see what it feels like to soak when the air temp is below freezing!!    ..enjoy (but cover those strawberries...please

It was 76 at my house today.    We do have an expected low of 38.

It was 80 today at my chino hills store.  Go figure 80 on Jan 2nd. But they say we are going to get up to 8" of rain over the weekend.  Boy does So Cal need the rain

Maybe we should send them the wind also. It's not only cold (although 28 in January in NJ is balmy) but very windy - it goes right through you.

But we should be hitting 60 on Sat.

I just talked to a former member, Cappycat, in Florida and she says it is freezing but the wind may help save her plants. So they got that chilly wind too, Vinny!!

40 degrees here in South Florida and just had my first cold soak!!! Loved it, but getting in was a bitch! Getting out was fine though, I was surprised. That was what I was most worried about.

I didn't realize you were so close to me Micah.  I thought Mendocino was my closest dealer on here, but I'm thinking you are.

I'm not looking forward to the storm a brewing... it sounds nasty.  But it was a gorgeous day for my baby's 8th birthday today!

Hey Boni,

I soaked at 6:00 a.m. this morning in 28 degrees here in North Florida and BOY did it feel good!  The sky was CRYSTAL clear and 2 satellites plus 2 meteorites were spotted in 30 minutes of soaking.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to all of our "upper" friends for sharing a cold blow!

(And if anyone down here complains about the cold, I just tell'em to think about August and be happy!) 8-)

Here in central Florida it wasn't that cold.....may have been 38 for a brief time.  Wind prevented any frosting on the plants.  Crew out delivering a Coleman 461 right now, client wants in it tonight in the cold weather.  That will be no problem, should be in before sunset.  One day of winter so far is a small price to pay.  Soak warmly Tom

Sorry Loosenup..my 90 year old Mother-in-law in Sun City (south of Tampa) says
38 is tooo %$$# cold!! and we can have our winter breeze!
Windsurf, so glad you enjoyed a cold weather soak, we will be enjoying some warmer weather from you guys later in the week...I'll be thinking about gardening!  Sounds like this was a special treat for our southern friends   Isn't it so nice to share?
