And don't forget the ABC's of buying an AR-15: Armalite, Bushmaster, and Colt.

DPMS, Rock River Arms, and Sabre Defense also make fine rifles.

Good luck and good shooting!

As a few posters advised me once, you all need to step back, take a deep breath and move on...if you don't have anything nice to type, don't.  You guys are a hoot, but it is seriously a waste of your energy and karma...your egos are hysterical!  Everyone needs to say just one more thing...

Ya know, I would like to buy a full-auto M-16 so that I can lay waste to the enemy invaders from Canada and Mexico when the time comes,
Terminator

Term,

Don't worry about having to spend all your money on a M-16, now that the dollar is even, the plans to invade have been put on the shelf ;)

Dontcha need a budget for ammo too? No sense having a rifle without ammo, that's like a hot tub without water in it.

Well, it didn't work out.  He countered me at $8495.   Maybe he'll change his mind.  But for now, it's on to Caldera and Bullfrog dealer.

Solo, the Envoy is one fine spa. $8495 is a killer deal. I wouldn't let $500 stand in the way of spatopia. Once you get it home the money won't be an issue. This spa will last you over ten years. I'm sure you can sock away $50 per year to make up the difference.

See if they can give you a tax break to save you the $500.   ;D

You can borrow the difference from your mom, get the spa you like, and pay her back over time.

Yes indeed, you can have your cake and eat it too.

You were asking for a 11% discount, when 2% is reasonable, and they offered you about 5%.

Oh well.  good try.  Keep on shopping and go for second best. :'(

$500? Isn't that what they make credit cards for?

I thought this too!

I think if we stop wasting our time with this, the problem will go away. If we all stop responding, maybe solo will stop fence sitting or will stop posting. I think there is an enjoyment factor that is underling here ... he's playing with everyone's heads both the dealers and here. If we don't play there's nothing going on.

As I said in another thread, I stopped giving advice a while ago.

I like what Steve said about firing the customer ... if I owned my own store and a customer was a PITA I would gladly ask them to leave and never return.

I knew a guy who liked to go "car shopping" ... he wasn't buying a car but liked to haggle with car dealers - that was his game.

Personally I think we should all stop responding.

I'll now go back into the background
