Decision Made! Jetsetter on the way!
« on: November 05, 2006, 08:53:31 pm »
Hi Everyone.  Thanks to all of those who helped me with my decision over the last few weeks!  I narrowed it down to a HS Jetsetter or Artesian Ruby (last minute curve ball) and ultimately went with the Jetsetter.  The dealer with the Artesian was GREAT (Thanks Jim), but I ultimately decided that I didn't want to take up that much room on my deck and was happier with the fit of the Jetsetter.  The Artesian had a lot of bells and whistles, but I did not fit the lounger well, and I was concerned that the dealer would only be carrying Jacuzzi tubs once all the Artesians were gone.  In addition, there were about 3 jets that kept popping out while I tested the Artesian and the circulation pump wasn't working.  I'm sure it would have been fine in the long run, but alas! I really don't need a big tub.

It sounds like it's only going to cost me $200 more at the most to wire for 220, so I'm going to go for it.  My new tub should arrive sometime around November 15.  I can't wait!  I'll send pictures.  Thanks again, everyone!

Congrats on pullin' the trigger!!
It's funny how a simple wet test can trump all others comments on a tub. You just never know until you actually sit in it yourself and realize if it meets your specific needs. :)
There are lots of happy Jetsetter owners on this forum and I'm sure you'll soon be one of them too.
That was a wise descision going with the 220. It will pay for itself.

Excellent! Glad you shopped around and found what you wanted. The 220 is the way to go. Have em wire a 110 outlet, while they are  doing the sub panel.  ;)
