Frank,

It could be that your old tub has a 2 speed motor on the main pump.  It will turn on and off as the control panel calls for heat or a preset filter cycle at low speed.  If this is the case you would not hear a circ pump running at all times.

I know that HotSpring, Tiger River, Caldera and certain models of Sundance use a very quiet Laing pump for ciruclation. You can't hear that pump running even with the equipment door open - but you can see very slight ripples on the surface, and of course, the tub gets to temp and stays there.

The only thing i am hearing is a tikking noise.
but once in my tub with all the jets and pumps of i feel the warm water ever so slightly comming to the top.
i do not know if that is enouth to heat the tub in the winter.
I also could not find anything to program the pumps.
if somebody could tell me how to post some pics on here i could show you what i got.

Frank, to post pics, you have to have an online site to host them.  I use photobucket.com.  You can sign up for free.  Once you are signed up, they will show you how.  It's very easy and once you get the hang of it, it's hard to stop. :)

Frank,
That spa came with a circ pump on it...Should be black and either just behind the equipment pack or to the right of the equipment pack.

You could order it without but most of them had it.

It could look something like Drewski's pump here

Actually I just looked at your pictures again and noticed that you have an older Hercules type Pack. Get me a year and I can tell you more.....You might not have a pump however my bet is that you do if your feeling warm water comming out with pumps off you probabably have a circ pump.

Stuart
You are right. it is exacly what you showed me on your picture.

Would you have an idea where i can find the Year on the tub.
The famlie i bought the tub from told me that it is 7 years old.
After 4 years they broke the cover and never used it again. So it sat around emty for 3 years.
Please let me know what you know about these packs and tubs.

thanks
