Returned From Vacation (with pics)
« on: July 13, 2006, 12:52:12 pm »
Well, I returned from vacation about a week ago to find  some very cloudy water in the tub and the PH very low (at the end of the testing scale)

Before I left, I turned the temp down to 80 (or however low it would go) and put in about 3 dry oz of Diclor and of course, adjusted Alk, and PH.

So, I re-shocked the tub and ran the two pumps for about 3 hours.  Nice and clear water now! but my chlorine level is off the scale.

It's taken me 3 days to get that darn chlorine level down!

All seems well with the tub now.

Here's a few pics of the Ozark's.  No hot tub, but plenty of water!

Daughter #1 (driving) with a friend:

Couple shots of my girls trying to hang on!

And finally, my son wakeboarding (didn't "land" that last jump ;) )

Great photos, looks like you have all the toys to keep the kids happy.

We've got the boat the tube, wakeboard and a paddle boat. I've managed to avoid the jet ski (so far.) I like to remind my kids that when I was young we thought we were lucky if we found a big floating cottonwood log to ride at the lake. They just roll their eyes and beg for a jet ski...

Yeah, the kids love the Sea Doos.  The boat's not mine.  It belongs to my sister-in-law.  27 Ft Mariah Bow Rider.  Very nice boat.

I have 2 Sea Doos but living in Colorado, we only use them a couple times a year.  I won't put them in the water here because of safety concerns (too many people + small body of water = unsafe )

Gotta love the Ozarks!
