Hot tub pad

We purchased a Caldera Tahitian.  I need to put down a cement pad.  The advise from the dealer was a five inch cement pad.  Do I need rebarr(sp) in the pad?  
I was going to do a flat pad, for the tub to sit on, with an extra six inches on each side.  Then approximately two feet around the tub, slightly sloped, for run off.
Any suggestions, corrections, or additions?

Here are pictures of my pad project this past Spring.

The guy that did mine used rebar.

I think we went with a 4 or 4.5 in thick slab.

He said to not place the tub on pad for
at least 72 hours...something about curing.

It cost me $500 to have the pad done.

If I had it to do over again I might have
him round the corners of the slab, but it
is no biggie because it's covered with deck
now anyway.

Personally I prefer decking around
the edges my tub instead of concrete.

Looks very sharp Zep.

When I had my patio poured my concrete guy used rebar and also did five cement posts poured to help even the weight of the tub out and to prevent possible later shifting.  The posts were about a foot in diameter and 3-4 feet deep, and not to bad on price.
