Fair Warning

I'm going for a visit to the mothership.
Sales traning.
I know I know -
But I figured a tune-up was due.
This is called "The Next Level," and I have a list of who else will be there. All former "Top Gun" graduates, some of whom graduated the same year I did - 2001
They recommend visiting the mothership every couple of years, but this is the first return visit since I went to "The Next Level" in about 2002 or 2003.
So consider this fair warning. My posts may be a bit more, well, just a bit
more
after I get back. I usually return very pumped up.
Looking forward to it - I can't promise that I'll post pictures or anything. Some of it is very hush-hush. Mind control, subliminal suggestion, deep stuff like that.
You'll never even know if it's working - one day you'll just find a new tub in your backyard and wonder how it got there....

Very nice Chas. Let me know if you can smuggle me in as your technician. I'm not too far away. I'll even buy you lunch.

Wow - this place is great!
This is what it looks like when the flowers are in bloom. I'll try to get a pic of what it looks like today...

Yep, looks like the Grand Pacific Palisades Resort/Hotel in Carlsbad. I'll see you at the breakfast buffet tomorrow Chas.

I recognized that photo right away! I stayed there for a cardiac ultrasound training session last year. Nice place!

Well, I must apologize - I have not even gotten the camera out of the trunk. It has been fast-paced, informative, challenging yet I have been infused with a new hope.
I have hope for eternity, of course, but this is hope for the next few years. More about that later.
HotTubDan's wife is here - just had dinner with her and a bunch of other fine folks at TGI Friday's. "Mom" is great people.
Jade (AmberP) is here - watch out, she's a sharp one. I\We learned a bunch from her about doing good personal follow up. I would
not
want to sell against her.
Others will have to post for themselves, I'm going to do a little reading and hit the hay. They are going to videotape some of us tomorrow, and I volunteered. Not that I think I'm all that good. Actually I hate to see myself on tape - as do most of us I think - but boy it sure shows me what I need to work on and where I can improve.

Oh boy. I'm in it now...
Mike D, the Vice President of Watkins manufacturing came up to me just before the last session today.
Mike is a very level-headed man, as you would expect. He is a man of high moral standing, very honest, ethical, well educated, yet has a fun side. I have seen him do some zany things on various trips and training events all over the world, and he always does so with style and grace. To the best of my knowledge, he doesn't exactly
volunteer
for these things, but he does them with great good humor.
So as he approached, I expected and received a firm handshake, and warm greeting by name. I bet he could greet most of our dealers by name, and their wife as well. I did not expect what came out of his mouth next:
"So Chas, how are you enjoying your visit to the Mother Ship?"
Yikes!
Hi Mike. I had a very good visit, thanks for asking.
