I got a phone call from a customer this morning.  I had helped facilitate getting a fix done to her spa.  We had parts back ordered and the fix took longer than we hoped and she felt like she had been forgotten about.  The main thing I did was check on the status of the back order and stayed in phone contact with her.  It is now several weeks after fix was completed and she called me to thank me.

Made my day. :D

Anyone else have any good stroies, turning lemons into lemonade?

You know I have been waiting on a diverter valve for three weeks for my jetesetter.  After numerous phone calls I called the service guy and really vented.  He apologized and let me know that things are back-ordered and he has not been able to get the part.

I let him know that all I wanted was to be acknowledged and kept in the loop instead of being told they would look into it and than never call me back.

You did a great job and sometimes all it takes is being upfront and in touch with the customer.

Good Job!

PS- I think the HS service guy just showed up.

Yep, he is here.  Seems to be having some trouble getting the diverter valve to work propely but at least we are making some progress.

;D ;D
