On to Dichlor
« on: April 01, 2006, 04:05:39 pm »
Just got done with my spring water change.
Water temperature out of the spigot this time of year is 45 F.  Hurts to put your hands in the water.   Water needs to raise almost 50 degrees!  Not even sure it'll be warm enough for this evenings soak.

I'm switching from bromine to dichlor.  I never could get the bromine level stable.
Prior to that, I was on Baqua.  Hopefully third time is a charm.
I'm going to try Vermonters method.  Looks pretty sensible.

You'll like the dichlor routine Brewman. Should be easier than making a Pale Ale. :D

Brewman,
Having followed your posts for what seems like forever on this board, I am really looking forward to your opinions of dichlor as compared to bromine.......forget the baqua.  I've only used dichlor and am extremely happy with the results.  I think your perspective will be very enlightening.  Here's to you and easier hot tub maintenace!
