Tired of those pic of the day shots?

Well, we had one of those dreaded power outages finally.

Somebody hit a power pole a mile away and took out our whole neighborhood. Sent a surge through the lines and fried a bunch of appliances.

Nothing in my house got hit, or if so, nothing seems to be damaged.

Took 'em four hours to get us lit again.

I ran out and took a picture of the tub -

finally no streetlight,

no light from neighboring houses,

nothing coming from my house and of course,

nothing from the tub iteslf.

it was great!

Nice and dark finally!

I didn't even use a flash.

I'm goin got put the camera away and jump in while I can.

Enjoy:

Love the cabinet/shell color choices....Black and Black.
Do you have a problem with water stains?

Chas - Don't worry about jumping in.  That particular model, aptly named the Ultimate Black Hole, will "suck you in" all on it's own.  Problem is you can never get back out and eventually wind up in an alternate universe where Conjuna's ravings make sense to 95% of the world and it's the other 5% who are insane...LOL, enjoy your soak!

What's the color of your granite counter tops?  Is that Ubatuba?

It is amazing how much artificial light and sound we are bombarded with.  Its not often that you get to "escape" from it.

Nope, didn't even drop in temp.

And in talking about it with my daughter she assures me that the power was off for more than four hours - she had to go to the library to finish up some school work.
