wet test done. choice made. my husband chose the emerald m670 05 floor model, he didn't even get in the sundance. just made the decision which kinda miffed me after all the research i had done. but then he took away the agonizing process of choosing the "right one" (he knows i'm wound too tight-how do you spell that?), plus i now reserve the rights of any future "i told you so's" due to my vast knowledge!!! LOL. truthfully, i'm glad that part is over. poured the additional slab on the patio.....have quite a slope to compensate for 1.25 inches away from the house. any suggestions?

seven months, LOL and well it is his money too...and there still is the "i told you so" factor which i will use to my advantage if i must !!!! lol i hope that doesn't happen. and he has agreed to be the chemical man after all.

congrats. sounds like you'll be in your own hot water soon. The pad, i don't quite understand. 1.25" pitch over the total length where spa will be? I just saw a post where they skim coated the existing slab. Should work just fine. I imagine you cannot shim the emerald.

don't have a shim package for that much, so i've been told. hubby plans to build a deck of sorts. with treated decking to raise the low side to 2.5 inches and level to 1.25 with joists for lack of a better term, every 12 inches and then top with decking, sit it on top, don't want to pour more concrete, although did show him that idea. if we move will take tub with us...what you gonna do with the little ramp on the patio?

but if the little ramp on the patio is laid out on plastic like the other member has it....that can be removed when you decide to vacate, and PRESTO! Cleanest spot around.

Congrats, but he should know better to that to put himself in such a precarious situation. I always try to make sure my wife is on board so that I don't hear the "I would have gone with the ... if I was deciding" over and over for the next 80 years.
