Brookenstein, how's the new Rack?
« on: January 16, 2006, 10:20:33 pm »
I'm talking towel racks here. My wife has informed me that I need to buy a new towel rack for the spa. How does yours rate so far? Is it tall enough to hang robes on?

I thought you got a boob job and wanted me to rate it.   ;D

So far I'm very happy with it.  When I sprayed my filters off I got some overspray on it and it did leave water marks.  However when it rained it didn't leave any.  It holds the robes off the ground no problem.  I have nothing to compare it to, but I like its simple lines, the rotating hangers, and I'm a fan of chrome.   :)  I'll be rather POd if it starts rusting any time soon.

You guys should get a warning for these titilating subject lines that are a ruse to draw in unsuspecting people to follow your mundane spa chat. When someone asks about "a new rack" I expect to see a picture of someone trying to raise their center of gravity.

You can get a spray on clear laquer finish for outdoor furniture.  I spray all of mine and no rust.

If you or anyone else wanna pony up the $2900 for a boob job, I'd be more than happy to post pictures.   :)

Maybe we can collect enough to get the right boob done before the start of summer and then get the rest to complete the set by the end of the year.

If you can't sell it on eBay, it may not even qualify as landfill.

Retired (mostly) from the industry after 33 years...but still putzing around with a consumer information website, and trying to sell obsolete owners manuals

I have a feeling this post will be moved pretty quickly.   ;D

Wow, I think I'm up to $145 in my new boobs fund... only $2755 to go.

Doc, you'll have to get permission from the mister for that.   ;)  You might have to throw in some free chemicals or a rubber ducky for him to go for it.
