sovereign tub project - part deux
« on: November 07, 2005, 02:42:14 pm »
Okay,

I let the puppy run for a while. The pump needs to be rebuilt -

I have another leak:

I've had the spa filled for about four days. No leak, at least if there is, it's verrrry slow.
However, when running, I get Quite the leak from underneath, which appears to be coming from  the corner where the moto massage is.

I know water has the ability to go anywhere, so I'm not stating that the leak is from this corner, only that this is where the water is coming from.

So, in order of shoulder slumping 'work ahead of you' direness...

how should I proceed in trying to find this leak? It appears to only happen when the tub is on, so I get the 'under pressure' part of it.

Additionally, once I start cutting the foam away to get to the problem, what do I use to 'refoam', to reinsulate when I'm done?

I await your expert replies.
Thanks.

ps - oh, and if anyone has an answer on the starite model question in my other thread...
