What brand does the depot carry there?
I dont live anywhere near you so it is difficult to give advice.
One thing to consider with a tub purchased from a big box store is service. They have not worked any consideration for service into the margins. They will not answer your questions on tub purchasing, tub operation, water chemistry or warranty.
Perhaps you should look at some of the plug&play units availible. Nordic makes one. FreeFlowSpas make some neat tubs. Softub is an option, but a weak one IMHO.
Used is also an option....but,, like a car, a used tub can be a money pit.
