Temporary relocation of hot tub
« on: July 08, 2017, 04:40:56 pm »
I'm having my pool deck resurfaced and need to relocate my Sundance Altamar tub for 7-10 days while the deck cures. Since the pool is at the bottom of a hill behind the house, I can't move the empty tub to a solid surface like my garage or driveway.

Can it sit on my lawn next to the pool deck for the amount of time? The lawn is level but I'm wondering if I should place it on a tarp or plywood.

Suggestions?

Thanks.

I would just lay it where ever, it's not going to hurt the spa specially if empty, but it will kill what ever is under it.  IE grass.

The only reason I might use plywood would be if I was moving it myself by sliding it or rolling it on pipes. Once you hit the grass you are going to need 8 big guys to lift and move it.
