Master Spa owners?
« on: February 25, 2005, 02:32:38 pm »
I had to recently decided to replace my filters on my 2003 LS850 and I was able to easily find the top rectangular one as well as the two round outer ones on the internet. I couldn't find the two eco-pure ones that fit inside the two round ones. I contacted Master and was told these are only sold through an authorized "Master spa" dealer.  Accordingly i was forced to drive 40 minutes over to my dealer (who wouldn't ship them) and pay what I considered an outragous price. ($95.00 for the pair). Has anyone found a dealer who will sell these on line? Has anyone found a "replacement filter" of similar quality elsewhere? I love shopping on my computer and comparing prices, ect. Any help here? Thanks!

I've never purchased from them, but it may be worth a look:

Drifter,

Sorry, I can't give you any more info than this....

Fortunately, I negotiated an extra set with the purchase 6 mos. ago (and just changed them out) so I haven't bought any yet.  I did refer another friend who bought an LS700 and, as a thank you for the referral, the dealer gave me a $100.00 store credit which I turned into 2 more new mineral filters, 2 new micro (big, round) filters and 2 lbs. of dichlor.  Though this doesn't detail the cost of the mineral filters, it's at least a point of reference.... :)

Chris, thanks for the 'tude.... >:(
