HS Vanguard constantly High Temp
« on: January 22, 2005, 04:33:44 pm »
We have a 2004 HS Vanguard.  It's been installed for about 4 months.  about a month ago I put in a digital thermometer to watch the temp.  This it pretty cool, I'll post in another thread the setup.  The temp pickup is in the filter well.

We have our tub set at 102.  The temp is ALWAYS higher that that.  I have seen it as high as 105.8.  Right now after not using it for about 18 hours it is at 104.4.

This seems unusual.  I had previously noted that the water temp seemed high on an analog thermometer, but chalked that up to the cheap Duck thermometer that we had bought from our dealer.

Could I have something wrong??

Thanks

Tim

Tim,

I would move the temp sensor to the main body of water before you worry.

If the tub is in fact running hot, a call to the dealer is warranted.

Is the tub indoors or in a warm area by any chance? If so, engaging the 'summer timer' will help.
