I have a portable spa called x-spadition. A few months ago the jets lost considerable pressure and the air intake system for the jets stopped working. The pump seems to be fine. Does anyone know what the problem may be?

Did you contact the dealer that sold it to you?

Sounds like you have a jet(s) not seated properly. When this happens, you will loose any air induction and therefore a loss in jet pressure.

Make sure all of your jets are tight and I suggest taking them all out and tightening them back in by hand. One jet can effect multiple seats depending on how the tub was plumbed.

Do me a favor, pull your filter and see if it act's the same way....

Even if you've cleaned it just humor me on this one so that I can eliminate that.

I was an X-spadition dealer for a couple of years.

Depends on how new...

Most are the non-adjustable, fixed precision jets.

I removed the filter with no effect.

The consensus seems to be to adjust the internals of the jets so the system is properly sealed. I will try this again.

This is also the advice the dealer gave but I wanted to double check.

I still didn't get an age on this spa? I have had a couple of thing cause this other than the filters. One was a jet that the orifice changed enough to where the jet was actually sucking air in the other was a problem with the air induction.

Sorry for the multiple messages; I am still learning how to use this forum. Here is a summary of where things stand:

The spa is just over one year old; warranty ran out last month (Dec).

I removed the 10 jet internals and reinserted them but it did not work.

Is there any way to tell which jets are ok and which are not?
