Hello and a Good New year to all....

I was wondering if anyone has tried the "Scum-bug" in your spa it claims to help with scum lines as well as absorbing oils and lotions from the water...There is a comparable product that is a ball...Do they seem to work....

yes, they work really well.  We use them in our spas in the stores, and they pick up all sorts of stuff that gets in the water just from people's hands.  The scum Balls work just like the scumbugs and are half the price.  The only thing you must watch out for, is sometimes customers forget to take them out when changing/cleaning their filters and they accidentally get sucked down into the plumbing (mainly on older spas).

Happy new year Mendo!

I've always kept a scum bug in my water.  Most of the time, it hides in the filter compartment.

Funny...it keeps the tub clean, but it sure looks like its sleeping on the job.

I have used scum balls, with good results.

I happened to read a thread (a great while back) on Doc's site and someone suggested using plain old tennis balls.  They work great, as well!  I was quite surprised!

Happy New Year!!!
