Welcome to our forum.
I was just looking at that last night. Came out to a nice gentle snowfall with big fat snow flakes. Had to brush off the cover and I was looking around for steam leaking. In that area is a thing that looks like a leather bean bag. Ever play Toss-accross? The bean bag is about that size.
Mine has a square piece in the middle. I did notice some steam escaping from it this morning. Any way to reduce it?Jonathan
Beachcomber also has the "flappy thing" across the entire cover. It does a great job of helping to keep the heat in, but admittedly does looks a little silly. Our super duper fancy name for it is the "Heat Bumper Seal." Joe
Ok, a couple of things What good would it do all the way across the seam? Maybe a picture would help. Doc you sell covers, what do you think. A new cover might be a year down the road for me.
The good it does is typically that is a part of the cover that has no insulation. I am sure some of the snow belt can chime in to attest when you have a light snow the hinge would be the area that had no snow. So a 7' Sq. cover would have approximately 168" square inches of no insulation.
