Hot Spring Envoy price shopping
« on: December 05, 2004, 04:37:11 pm »
I have decided to buy a Hot Spring Envoy but am not happy with the price I'm getting locally ($8900 with tax for spa with ozonator, steps, cover and lifter, but without radio)  I've seen some say they bought this same spa last month for $7200.  Are there any online retailers you can suggest who sell Hot Spring and can deliver to New York? Thanks!

It was $8,400 in Virginia without all the stuff you mentioned. Have you wet tested this yet? I did and I found it didn't fit me good. The lounger made it difficult to get into the tub from the front. The seat in the back right beat me to death. Plus I think it only seats 5.

Look at a Caldera Geneva for something similar to the Envoy for $8000. Both are made by Watkins.

I paid about $8200 with tax for a similar package in August.  I live in NW NJ but bought from a dealer in Middletown, NY.  Since delivery was to NJ, I paid NJ tax.

$8900 is about what my most local dealer quoted me.  The NY dealer happened to have the Envoy available to wet test and was running a "truckload" sale.  I gave my local dealer a chance to match the price b ut they wouldn't.  I liked theNY dealer and it is only about a 25 minute drive.

Not too long ago we figured in Mozambique it would cost about 240,000,000 Mozambique Metical before tax and shipping.

I bought an Envoy in November in Western Massachusetts for $7,995.00 plus tax. Mass has a 5% sales tax so paid $8,394.75.

I got the tub, stairs, cover, cover lifter, fresh water system with starter chemicals, a "booster" seat for my wife, a hand held vacuum, a water filter that attaches to my garden hose to clean the water when filling the tub, a spare filter for the tub itself, and a scum buddy float.

It also included delivery and setup.

We bought it in the "Pearl" so we also got the multi-light system.

I'd say we did pretty good !

Hi,
I've seen them at two dealers in CT for $7100 plus tax.  (6%)  We got the Vista for $7899 plus tax.  Both spas were well equipped.  Cover lifter, steps, delivery, chemicals, robes.  Good luck with your shopping.
