Sore feet

Hello I work a retail Management job and are on my feet 10 to 12 hrs a day witch makes for sore heals. My tiger river bengal does help greatly but i still have sore feet
Is there ways to get more hydro therapy benefit from my spa jets for my feet. Have water temp set a 103 degrees and stay in spa 45 minutes per nite holding feet on the 2 footwell jets.
Im even thinking of buying me some of those funky Z coil shoes to try. Any one tried them? There very expensive and wierd looking , but hey if they realy help with your feet and legs im willing to try em

When was the last time that you spoke with your doctor about this condition. Though a spa may add to temporary pain relief, you need to make sure that you do not have some underlying medical problem. Meanwhile you are exposing your entire body to very hot temps for a prolonged time, probably not the best idea.
Your long term health needs need to be taken more seriously. Good Luck!

Hello T6Texan- have you tried any essential oils outside the hot tub for relief? The Bengal is a great machine (I used to sell them) but you may want to try test-soaking a machine with a higher volume flow for the feet such as HotSpring, Jacuzzi Premium, etc. Good Luck!!! Feet can be such a pain.
P.S.-Mr. Happy,
That's the first decent response I've read from you. Well done and more of it please.

if you are on your feet all day, wear dansko clogs. they last for years and they're worth every penny. you should also get checked out by your generalist or a podiatrist to make sure exactly what's going on.

Hi t6texan,
I agree with other responses here. Do see an orthodist or other foot specialist. Some inserts for your shoes may help you out. Also, ensure that there is no swelling around your calcaneous (heel bone). If there is any swelling in your feet then heat may worsen your condition (heat cause vasodilation of blood vessels increasing blood flow, thus putting more pressure on the nerve endings increasing pain etc).
You could also probably benefit from some foot massages/relexology. Definately look into new/better footwear and/or inserts.
Good luck and continue to enjoy your Tiger River Bengal (a beautiful tub).

When I meet new people they often remark "Are you limping?" to which I typically add "Only when I walk!". I have RA and time has taken its toll on both my feet and their joints. At this point what is MOST important is not massages or hydrotherapy but making sure I have the best footware I can find. I wore my previous shoes beyond the point where they still looked good because they fit perfectly and cushioned my feet where they need it. They stopped making the previous pair I had and it took me a long time to find a good replacement (trying them on in the store is not the same as wearing them and a couple pairs were returned in a few days once I really got a chance to try them). There are certain kinds of footware that are known to be good for bad feet but ALL feet are different so you can't simply buy a certain brand and know it'll do the trick. See a podiatrist and find a footware store that specializes in problem feet that can set you up with what is right for YOUR feet.

In all seriousness, check out the Dansko's. They make a bunch of men's shoes and are super comfortable. Pricey, but comfortable. Check out
Dansko
and click on the men's link.
