Ozonator question for the "tech's"
« on: October 17, 2004, 12:13:51 am »
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.  I own a 2000 Sundance Cameo with the SunZone CD Ozonator.  I don't think it's working properly.  When it was new, I could smell the ozone.  Now that its a few years old, there is no distinct ozone smell.   I called my customer service department, and they told me that if the icon on the display panel was lit-up that the ozonator was working properly, but the possible cause was those little tiny in-line check vavles could be blocked.  Where can I find replacements of these things?  Are they necessary?  Anything else you can think?  Thanks again.

The check valves do get blocked sometimes - also, they can crack and separate.

I have replaced three check valves in two years.  If you are not getting bubbles from your circ pump return fitting, it is most likely your check valve.

Your dealer can get you the check valves.
