I would like to have your input on this. Please no wiseguy comments out of any of you people!

Out of the choice of only these two answers. What was the #1 reason you bought or are going to buy a spa is it for physical therapy or for entertainment?

To buy anything but a CaVeN.  I did it solely for the purpose of increasing sales in the hot tub community, and to show in direct proportion, sales of CaVeNs amoungst other spas.

We don't use the spa for therapy. We filled it with sand, the kids and the cats use it on occasion.

Anything else you wanted to know as far as adding to your batch of kool-aid? ("oriental" wife has a bearing on a spa LOL)

All of the above. Except substitute "spouse" for hubby. The Haven/JimA/Mr. Happy war in which I don't care to  be invoved, I'll leave to the people that do.

1) a wind down sanctuary after a long day at work
2) a place and means to rekindle communications
3) there wasn't enough stress in my life so buying and setting up a spa seemed like a good was to refresh lazy nerve endings????
4) therapy to work on damaged nerves caused by chemotherapy.  The feet took a real bad hit from the cruel and vile chemo drugs, and the footdome works wonders on the pins and needles sensations I found common since then)

Mr. Happy said to limit my answer to either physical therapy or entertainment.  I did not get the spa for physical therapy reasons, so the only other allowed answer is entertainment.

The reality is, we use the spa for relaxation as much anything.  But it's nice to be able to soak away sore muscles, but that's not why we got the spa.
Typically, we grab a few beverages of choice, pop in a CD or favorite radio station, and soak away for a few hours.  Often we have friends over, and end the evening with a soak.
