" all "Salt" systems be deactivated and removed. "

I have bought an Arctic Spa with SpaBoy - Salt System - it is still Ok to have it and it is chlorine-based one.

If you are in Canada that one I believe was on the list of the ones being banned.  It’s stupid

"It’s stupid".... I Agree. I say as I light up a smoke in my asbestos covered basement...lol

I have reached out to Arctic Spa and waiting for a reply.

My Arctic Spa System (Onzen) is using chlorine.
It is not banned in Canada but works the same way as bromine-based systems.
Also, I believe that "pioneer pools" has a similar one for hot tubs.
Another thought: You probably can use bromine salt with this system too - but unofficially :)

See it now :)
But I 've bought the device AFTER this list was issued. No problems.
Also, I've found this info in the same doc:  "All chlorine swimming pool or spa electrolysis devices are to indicate that they are not to be used with bromide products."
I assume that they still can be used but not for bromine ...
