back in the market
« on: March 17, 2018, 05:00:35 pm »
Three years ago, I was seriously considering purchasing a hot tub.  I reviewed many brands and did wet testing from Sundance to Caldera to Bullfrog to Artesian.  At the time, I selected the Artesian Island Series Grand Cayman but got cold feet due to the expense.

We're back in the market with a lower budget now.  I prefer the Artesian dealer in South Houston who also sells Jacuzzi.  Considering my budget, it's between the following:  Artesian 735L ($6.5K), Jacuzzi 335 ($8K) and the Jacuzzi 235 ($5K).  For the Jacuzzi models, both were on the showroom floor when Hurricane Harvey hit in August in Houston; however,  -- both models have been repaired and have the full warranty.  The dealer turned on both and they were fully operational.

My husband and I are both tall which is the only drawback for the Jacuzzi -- lounge is not as long.

Opinions on the above is appreciated.

Thanks

The Jacuzzi J335 is the best of what you listed but I don't have any idea on pricing.  What exactly had to be repaired on the Jacuzzi units after the hurricane?

Man, I would be super nervous about the flooding part of that.  The Artesian is a good hot tub for the price.  2 pumps, 35 jets, lots of bells and whistles.

Yes
I agree
Makes me nervous

Will probably go with the South Seas 735l
Just haven’t done a wet test on that one;  wet tested the bigger Artesian Grand Bahama elite
